Keeping you and us safe

Over the weekend and yesterday, I have been giving a lot of thought as to how we may move forward.

I had reached the conclusion I was not going to change anything about how we are working currently.

Yesterday, we received advice from our professional bodies that we are a health care environment and therefore all current controls should stay in place.

Therefore..

We will continue with a locked door policy with an appointment only basis.

We will continue with social distancing and sensible numbers in the building at any one time.

We will continue with PPE for all staff.

Anyone entering the building will need to wear a face covering (unless they have evidence to show an exemption).

We will continue to triage, where possible , if an appointment is necessary, particularly in the younger age groups.

I believe these measures are still sensible and necessary given the current climate, to protect you and ourselves.

Naturally, our current infection control protection measures will carry on.

The building is fogged every week, we have new air handling units in the consulting rooms and all surfaces are cleaned after each patient touch point.
