Former professional rugby league player Garry Schofield, QBE spoke at the inaugural evening event of the Gateways School Business Networking Group.
The ex Leeds player, who is the most capped Great Britain player of all time, gave advice for achieving success.
A spokesman for the Harewood based school said: “Garry spoke about the ups and downs of his rugby career and gave advice for achieving success which included making sacrifices, doing the little things right and setting values. Audience members described Garry’s speech as inspiring and motivational. Afterwards guests were given the oppoftunity to have photographs with Garry, his golden boot and his OBE medal.”
