This weekend, we were delighted to sponsor the Under-8s group at the Harrogate Railway Football Tournament.
Despite the wet and windy Yorkshire weather, the young players showed incredible enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. It was fantastic to see so many children enjoying the game and giving their all for their teams.
Events like these don't happen without a huge amount of hard work behind the scenes, and we'd like to recognise the amazing volunteers who made the tournament possible. Over the course of the weekend, they welcomed more than 2,000 local children from across Yorkshire, along with their families and supporters.
At Simon Falk Eyecare, we're passionate about supporting our local community, and it was a pleasure to play a small part in such a well-organised and successful event.
Congratulations to everyone involved, and especially to all the young footballers who braved the conditions and represented their teams so brilliantly.
